Pleistocene Places

The pleistocene had some of the coolest animals. There were Mammoths, Giant Sloths, Giant Camels, Sabertooth tigers. Those were the days!

Imagine being able to go back to the California savannahs and the Pleistocene era of 15,000 years ago.

Here are some places in Southern California where you can see Pleistocene animals and learn about their habitats.
